Changelog: fixes from October 18 to 20
These are the fixes and improvements that reached the game between October 18 and 20, 2026, after the last changelog. Each line is one change, grouped by what the player feels.
Combat and PvP
- Protection zone: nobody attacks or gets attacked inside a protection zone: you cannot target a player from inside or outside it, and attack runes and spells cast from the PZ no longer hit anything.
- Skull and combat when targeting: targeting a player keeps the attacker’s skull and combat (and the target’s) even without a single hit.
- Paralyze: the paralyze rune (adana ani) paralyzes every monster and player on the tile for 20 s, removing 90% of the level’s base speed; a healing or haste spell cures it, swapping equipment does not; a paralyzed icon shows in the status bar.
- Black square: a black square shows for 300 ms on every attack a creature makes against you (a hit, even blocked, or a spell), once per attack.
- No weapon or shield: with no weapon that has defense and no shield there is no defense, so the block puff no longer appears.
- Throwing weapons: spears, assassin stars and the like break on 10% of throws and disappear; the other 90% stay in the hand they are equipped in.
- GMs and Gods: walk through players and creatures and do not hold the respawn.
Runes and spells
- Hotbar counter: the rune and potion counter now comes from the server and counts the equipment and every container, bag inside bag at any depth; it updates on every item added or removed and every 5 s.
- Potions: only the Mana Fluid exists as a potion; the others are gone from shops, monster loot and players’ containers. The vial stays as it was.
Items, shops and NPCs
- Trade Offers window: the NPC trade window was rebuilt: price with the coin under each item, item card, quantity with a slider, total and a warning; the NPC trades several non-stackable items at once.
- Backpack inside backpack: a backpack fits inside another at any depth (the limit used to be 2 levels).
- Coins: converted coins join the stack of the same coin already in the backpack; with Auto Convert Loot on, the gold from a sale is converted in any bag and at any level.
- Floor item and slot item: dragging a floor item onto an occupied slot swaps the two (the slot item goes to the floor).
- Hands and gold: both hands accept any pickable item (a two-handed weapon takes both); gold in any body slot counts and pays in the shop.
- Purchases without a slot: buying a backpack when the gold is only in the ammo slot works; buying with no free slot in the main backpack does not charge you.
- Mail: parcels and letters go to the recipient’s depot, online or offline, found regardless of letter case; with a full depot the shipment is refused and the sender keeps the parcel.
- Premium Scroll: new item that adds 30 days of premium to the account and disappears from the inventory; it only goes to the main backpack and, with no room, nothing is charged.
- Item tooltip: the item overlay lists the NPCs that buy it (Sells to) and the ones that sell it (Buys from).
- Blank Rune and Worm: removed from the game (catalog, loot, NPCs, spells and map).
NPCs and dialogue
- Busy NPC: a busy NPC tells you who it is serving; the NPC modal only opens for the player being served and closes by itself after inactivity (30 s) or when the server carries the player away (boat, carpet).
- Answer buttons: the dialogue shows buttons for each NPC’s paid offers (promotion, change platinum, rent…) and the NPC understands the stem of the word; the Oracle shows cities and professions as buttons.
- Boat trips: the Carlin NPC’s answer after a boat trip opens the modal normally.
- Level doors: a level door (and a forbidden-passage door) pulls the player to the other side and closes by itself when the tile is free.
Character, account and login
- Character name: at most 3 words and 20 letters, with the first letter of each word capitalized (a word of up to 2 letters in the middle stays lowercase: Wufa da Silva); the client formats as you type, in account creation, character creation and Name Change.
- Old name and friends: after a Name Change the old name still leads to the character, and the friend list of online players updates the name right away.
- Outfit color: color 0 (white) is a real color; colors changed in the outfit window come back at login.
- Outfit by sex: a male character only wears the male version and a female one the female version, including store and quest outfits.
- Free capacity: free cap follows the new maximum when you level up, and saving the character no longer zeroes the cap; an item that falls into a bag inside a full backpack is counted in the right bag.
- Case-insensitive login: the character is found by name regardless of letter case.
- Connection drop: a network drop during combat protects the character for 60 s and then removes it from the world; on return it resumes with 10 s of protection. Closing the tab on purpose follows the normal flow.
- Character selection and Game Store: the screen got the “Character Selection” title, premium days in green or red and “Lvl 31 - ED” on each line; the Game Store (outfits, addons, Premium Scroll, Sex Change, Name Change) sells with Fun Coins and has a button under the bars.
- Quest Log: lists every quest on the server (Zirella, Pumin, Sweaty Cyclops, Blessed Stake, Banshee Queen and the outfit and addon ones) with the state: not started, in progress or complete; the window has a fixed size and the lists scroll inside.
Guilds
- Guild system: create (premium and level 8), invite, join, decline, leave, kick, promote, demote, pass leadership and disband, through the /guild command and the Guild window.
- Guild social: MOTD (200 letters, leader and vice), a title per member, a Guild-only channel with an unread-messages bubble, a guild mate icon on the name and a Guild Members filter in the battle list; “He is a Member of the Name.” when you look.
- Houses and war: a house’s guest list accepts @guild and @guild#rank; guild war with declare, accept, reject, withdraw, counter-offer and surrender (fee, days and kill limit); frags in a war give no skull and no unjustified kill.
Interface, chat and client
- Long routes in the client: the client plans long routes by itself, using a walkable map of every floor (downloaded once per session).
- Add to Hotbar: the modal got the Items, Spells, Text and Actions tabs, spell rows with name, words, description, vocations, level and mana, Hide unusable, and Export and Import by file.
- Chat: speech at the right height, 200-character limit, anti-flood, World, Trade and Help channels, GMs in orange, identical messages no longer group; a private message opens the sender’s chat without taking focus, with an orange unread dot; server messages in the center queue up and kill loot no longer erases the level up.
- Map, light and layout: light is centered on the SQM and lighting is always on, with torch and lamp light in the slots; the first opening reserves room for both side columns; the minimap no longer turns black in the Rookgaard cave.
- Skill bar: right-clicking the skill bar hides or shows it.
- Hunt Analyzer: side window and a 4-tab report with session, XP, kills, loot, supplies and profit, editable prices and Export and Import (premium).
